We used ilumen for our solar project in the winter of 22/23 and I cannot say enough good things about Zach and his team! Prior to meeting with Zach, I spent a lot of time researching installers in the area and reading through a lot of their reviews. After some initial internet research I contacted a bunch of companies and ended up meeting with 6. Below, are a few things that made ilumen a no brainer for me 1- How many reviews just raved about Zach and his work ethic. To be honest, it was hard to find too many negative reviews for any company, but it was more unique that people not only seemed to love their final product, but with ilumen customers also loved the people they got to work with along the road. Dan and Zach were both great at handling any questions and overseeing the project from start to finish, and the crews they brought it to complete the install and electric were all amazing. 2- Their ability to explain things in ways that made sense to me, someone who knows absolutely nothing about electricity and before starting to research for this project knew nothing about solar. 3- Their flexibility. We made a few changes throughout the initial steps of the process opting for a bigger system than initially proposed. I love that they didn’t initially try to upsell us on a bigger system but were happy to accommodate when I said I want more! 4- High level of engagement throughout the whole process. I am not sure Zach sleeps. He seemed to be on the job 24/7! He is so on the ball and wants to make sure his clients know that he and his team are there for any questions or concerns throughout the process. 5- Competitive Pricing. Going into this I knew I wasn’t just going to go with the cheapest company because it was important for me to go with someone I trusted and would do great work. Luckily, with ilumen, I ended up getting both! Though I cannot say there was a huge difference in the prices quoted from various companies, ilumen did manage to beat them all! 6- Knowledge of tax credits and state incentives. Shockingly not all companies will handle this process to the extent ilumen will or even offer the SREC at all. All and all the process was painless and the finished product is awesome, looks great though discrete!

Loved my experience with Zach and Dan. Very thorough with explanations and flexible. Installation was a breeze and they were prompt to respond to questions and concerns. The solar panels themselves are unobtrusive and blend well into the house. Truly, an exceptional company, run by folks who are ethical and passionate about their work. Would highly recommend.

We have thought about installing solar on our home for over a year. We received quotes from about 5-6 companies (some national brands and few local installers). We had a great initial conversation with Zach and felt very comfortable moving forward with iLumen. Had a wonderful experience, start to finish. Dan, Brad and Zach were an amazing team who took the time to teach and inform if I did not know the answer or just had a question. The design and permitting process was right on time of when they stated. They handle everything (paperwork, incentive information, procuring and installation) as you sit back and watch the work happen. Highly recommend for any solar project.

We are now 1 month after turn-on for a solar system installed for us by Ilumen Solar. We couldn't be more pleased with the customer service, information provided, and quality of the installation. While we ended up paying for our system out of pocket, we were particularly impressed that Ilumen's financing options did not have any hidden loan fees, and their quotes made clear what costs were for the system, and what would be for financing. They are always quick to reply to questions, and have done everything possible to make us happy customers. Highly recommended!
